Questions regarding the analysis of the Internal Environment as well as the Marketing Mix

Questions regarding the analysis of the Internal Environment as well as the Marketing Mix

Dear Professor Roth, dear Ms. Ferizovic,

our group has two further questions regarding the concept paper:

1. Do we have to analyze the internal Environment? We were allowed to leave this part out in the Nespresso study because of the lack of accessibility of information to the public. Is this the case here as well and if not, how are we supposed to approach this analysis?

2. For the application of the Marketing Mix: Do we need to apply it to our idea that we are introducing or the situation the company is in at the moment?

Many thanks in advance, I hope you had a great weekend :-)

Kind regards

Lena Gieselmann

Dear Ms. Gieselmann, here are my answers:

1. Internal analysis: yes, in principle this is also true here, that you hardly have access to internal data and therefore cannot analyze this in detail then and leave it out; but if another group has already found information / data for this as part of the research for the analysis e.g. on 'people' (experts in a field or diversity etc.), that is also perfectly fine. I will accept both as complete in the exam.

2. First of all, the task is about an analysis and evaluation of the current status, because only based on this gaps, / potentials that can be identified. Of course, you can then consider independent approaches to the solution / own ideas.

Very best regards, Simone Roth
