Academic standard of the concept paper

Dear Ms. Roth and Ms. Ferizovic,

we have a question regarding the academic standard of the concept paper. You wrote that it should be prepared like any academic paper - does that mean we should also describe the models / theories (e.g. marketing mix) we are using and offer definitions?

Best regards

Sarah, Almina and Chris

Dear team,

I will gladly answer that. In view of the briefness of the concept paper, the focus is on the application of the models. (Therefore, it is very welcome to refrain from defining and explaining the basic concepts of 4Ps/7Ps or Save in detail before applying them). However, I cannot make a general statement that there are no definitions or pieces of knowledge to be referenced. This may well make sense at one point or another. If it is not an independent thought, for example, a source is required. Furthermore, correct referencing also applies to data used. I hope my answer helps.

Best of luck, Simone Roth

Dear Ms. Roth,

we have one final question regarding the concept paper: Do the 4-5 pages include tables and figures or are we talking about 4-5 pages text-only? For example, we would like to include some examples for the promotion or products - however, this would of course take up a lot of space.

Best regards

Dear All,

figures and tables count to the number of pages and cannot be excluded. You can add further examples as an attachment. However, please make sure to keep this as short as possible and only include the important aspects that round off your explanations.

Good luck!
