5. Fachsemester

In this lecture: International Water Problems we look at selected global case studies to understand some of the most pressing and urgent water problems in different regions and sectors. 

We analyze how water problems are affecting different sectors of society such as agriculture and industries but also how they affect eco-systems and global trade. Moreover, we will discuss the increasing global water problems as an immediate result of climate change and human interventions in the water cycle. 

Finally, in our second part of the lecture we will look at political and economic solutions to address those water problems.
